Purpose of Field Trip
An essential component of education is involving students in a series of experiences, both inside and outside the traditional classroom. Our memories of education are not of daily lessons but of the experiences related to learning. Field trips connected to classroom curriculum provide families a way of participating in their child's education through fun and memorable experiences. Learning takes place. . . no textbook required! And the most important reason to go on a family field trip, family bonds are strengthened. So if you find yourself wondering what to do with the family one weekend, try one of the the following suggested field trips. Enjoy!
