General Back to School Information
Welcome to Fifth Grade!
I am super excited about the upcoming year! My hope is that you are equally excited and motivated to be a part of the fifth grade team. Collaboration and communication will be critical to our team's success. Another key element to our team's success is YOU! Each new school year provides a chance for you to reinvent yourself and decide who you want to be. . . Will you be the kid who LOVES math? Will you be the kid who is a voracious reader? Will you be the kid who looks to help others or thinks critically to help solve problems? Think about it. You get to choose. Isn't that amazing?!!! So, who are you going to be this year?
My commitment to you is that I am going to be there for you every step of the way, to support and assist you in any way I can. I am not saying that I know everything (I definitely do not! I'm still learning, too!), but I am willing and determined. I know that by working together, we can ensure a fun and successful school year.
So, welcome to fifth grade! I know you are going to be fabulous!

Attendance 951.294.6356
Regular school attendance is critical to the learning process. When your child is absent, he or she misses valuable instructional time. Please make every effort to schedule appointments and vacations outside of regular school hours. If your child must be absent, please notify the front office and me via email as soon as possible. Remember to check our calendar for class and homework assignments your child will need to complete as a result of his or her absence.
Wednesday Envelopes
Every Wednesday, an envelope will be sent home containing important bulletins, information regarding school and classroom news, as well as graded class work. Please make sure to look through the contents of this envelope every Wednesday evening, sign the front of the envelope, and have your child return it to school Thursday morning.
